the converter is called Pelicans PS2 to PS3 Adapter. It is the only Playstation to USB adapter that will work on the playstation 3 as it has the PS button needed for the game.





I have the adapter and it works very well with DDR and Playstation 2 controllers. I haven't tested Playstation 1 or Guitar Hero Controllers. Though I have heard Guitar Hero 2 isn't so great on it.

No, in order to allow the controllers to work you must buy an adapter. Same goes for the memory cards.
the converter that was originally made to allow use of ps2 and ps1 controllers on PC also works on ps3


you plug one end into the usb and the other can fit the ps2/1 controller
