Do u have to have a Controller for each instrument for rock band on xbox 360?

i just bought rock band 2 for my xbox 360 today and i only have one regular controller and the only working instrument is the microphone. do i need a regular remote for every instrument?Do u have to have a Controller for each instrument for rock band on xbox 360?
No but since you have two they are wireless which means you need to make sure their is batteries in the other instruments then turn on your xbox 360 and also the instruments.





Then to the right of the memory card slots on the 360 there is a small button press that %26amp; then press the one on the instrument which is usually located on the side or the bottom of the instrument.





For example on the drum if the instrument is facing you then the button is in the front. Let the 360 connect to the instrument as you would with a wireless controller. no you can just turn on the drum set and guitars and they should register on your xbox. if they dont then sync them with the little wireless looking button. the reticle will spin and it will sync wirelessly. the microphone is the only instrument that needs a controller but if the singer isnt the band leader then you dont even need the controller. the only thing the controller does is let you select a character and hit ';ready';
no. controller is for the mic since it has no buttons or controls or a way of navigating. the other instruments have navigational buttons so they do not require a controller.
