I was wondering
since i have a NES emulator it kinda boring to play NES games with the computer keyboard
Could i try plugging in a NES controller or ANY other controllers on the cpu?Is there any way that i can plug in a NES controller into my pc?
I don't know of any adapters for NES controllers. I'm sure they exist, but it would be easier to just get a simple USB controller for your PC. For NES emulation, you only need a d-pad and two buttons. Since select and start aren't really used in games, just for pausing and such, you could map those to your keyboard or something.
But here is a cheap controller that would be fine for NES, SNES, or Genesis games:

Now, for N64 games or any newer PC games, that controller won't cut it. If you ever plan on playing newer games like Grand Theft Auto IV or Wanted or something like that, your best bet is the wired Xbox 360 controller. Windows automatically recognizes it, and it isn't hard to map the functions to actions in emulators.
