Getting second controller for WII system to work?

I just got the wii for my kids , i have two controllers and can get the second one to work on two diff games , I got them a game called ';playground'; when i choose multiple players it sends me to where u sync the second controller but no mater what i do on that particlur game i can not get the second handle synced it does wokr on other games though ?? any ideas ?Getting second controller for WII system to work?
I had the same problem with my Wii. What we had to do is press the sync button on the controller(near where you put the batteries in) after you press the sync button on the Wii(near the photocard slot). After I did this, the second controller showed up pon some games. Then, on the other games, I discovererd that only the first person controller showed up on the intro screen, and only in the actual gameplay does the second person control show up. where you put the batteries in at there is a red button press it when you open the apartment in frot of the game system. press that one and then it should work.
well, maybe it's the battery, and if not youre supposed to press numbers 1 and 2 at the same time on the second control and just wait till it syncs. but then again it is probably the battery so you might wanna check that out. or if youve accidentally dropped the second control...


and sometimes it is just a one player game and you must take turns. if so on the sync screen it will show only one Wii remote instead of two, as in the other games, although i dont know because i dont happen to own the game, but, just a suggestion.

had the same problem what you do is open the back of the controller keep the batteries in and keep it open and then go to the wii and open a flap that has a red button and click that red button at the same time as u click the red button on the back opening of the wii controller... {the sync buttons}
