How come my ps3 controller isnt working?

i was downloading a demo and i left my ps3 on and went to bed. when i woke up to check on it, my controller was not responding. i think it went out of charge power so i plugged it in the usb on my ps3 but when i push buttons, nothing happens. help!How come my ps3 controller isnt working?
I recommend that you turn off the ps3 controller if your going to leave your ps3 on for that long. you do this by holding the playstation button in for 2 seconds. a screen will come up and hit turn off controller. just wait a couple hours so that your controller can fully charge, then sign in to the ps3 with your controller{press ps button} then it should work, if not then there may be something wrong with your controller.How come my ps3 controller isnt working?

PS3...Really sux. If i was you i'de get a Nintendo Wii or a 360 LOL!!! you have a PS3!!! actually it's a good and fair price people Blu-Ray cost like $999.99 thats $1000 dollors but the PS3 is $600 that's a REALLY GOOD PRICE think about it.
